Course Description:
This class will explain each of the social networking sites and concepts – Facebook, Twitter, blogs and Youtube. For each, we will discuss: what it is, how it works, how you access it, and what kinds of communication take place there. Beyond the basics, we discuss linking email and texting to these sites, as well as the use of these sites by other existing social structures (clubs, groups) and corporations.
